What is Shop the County?

It’s an online directory designed to put businesses in the Lac Ste. Anne region on the map. Shop the County lets you add and edit your own business profile, and gives you access to a learning library that's full of great tips and resources to help your business thrive.

I didn't create my business listing...why is it already online?

When you purchase or renew a business licence with Lac Ste. Anne County or the Town of Onoway, your business may be added to Shop the County as a courtesy. The information you included on your business licence application, plus any relevant public-facing information about your business, is used to create your profile.

Where did you get my business listing information?

Many of the details — like your business category, phone number and email address — are already available on your business licence application form. To make listings more relevant and engaging, we try to fill in the gaps by searching for your business website, Facebook page or other public-access information.

How do I claim my business listing and edit the details?

Your Shop the County listing is YOURS to control. Just click the top right hamburger menu (the three little lines), click Login to your account, then select I've lost my password. Enter the email address that's associated to your business and you'll be emailed a link to reset your password. Once you change your login password, you'll be able to access your business listing and add or edit any of its images, hours of operation and other business details.

The password reset isn't working. What now?

Send an email to help@shopthecounty.ca and we’ll help you get onboard.

Can I add my own business listing?

Absolutely: Shop the County has a simple registration form that lets you add your own listing and tell customers all about your business. As long as you have a valid business licence with Lac Ste. Anne County or the Town of Onoway, you’re good to go!

I see my business listing, but some of the details are wrong. How do I change them?

I don’t have a business licence with the Town or County. Can I still create a business listing?

Anne County or the Town of Onoway to get started. Shop the County is only one of many great value-adds to having a business licence in the Lac Ste. Anne region.
